One- day curriculum review workshop held at the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences
The College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences (CAVS) held a one-day curriculum review workshop for all academic units. The workshop was held on November 5, 2019, at Wangari Maathai Institute for Peace and Environmental Studies. The workshop was attended by all heads of academic units, deans, directors, curriculum review experts, quality assurance, the college principal and members of academic staff.
The workshop was opened by the DVC Academic Affairs, Prof. Julius Ogeng’o who emphasized on the importance of reviewing the academic programs. The deliverables for the workshop include:
- Undertaking minimal changes in academic programmes;
- Alignment of existing academic programs to the new standards and regulations as stipulated by the Commission for University Education (CUE);
- Archiving of academic programmes that are not attracting applicants.
