Prof. Timothy Elias Maitho holds a BVM, MSc (UoN) and PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology (London) and is a Professor of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology in the Department of Public Health, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. He has published 80 peer-reviewed scientific papers, 20 Abstracts and supervised 10 PhD and 58 Masters Students to completion. He has served as a Director of Board of Postgraduate Studies, among other duties in the University. He has undertaken research and consultancies activities in his area of specialization. He has served as External Examiner and visiting Professor in several Universities. He was awarded the Elder of Burning Spear (EBS) by the State and is a Member of Kenya National Academy of Sciences.
